Our Leadership

The 80 Watt District (previously known as the Watt Avenue Partnership) manages the PBID, a 501-C6 private nonprofit corporation. The 80 Watt District Board of Directors provides oversight regarding the identification and implementation of solutions that benefit the district. These responsibilities include the dissemination of funds for designated programs while addressing the underlying tenets of safety, beautification, and security for businesses and residents.

Transparency is a key principle of this business model. Annual activity and expenditure reports are submitted to the County of Sacramento and are also accessible to business owners. Public meetings are noted on the calendar and records are available in accordance with the Brown Act and Public Records Act.

The Board of Directors for the 80 Watt District PBID will convene as follows:

  • Date: 2nd Thursday of each month, except July (dark) and December (Holiday Mixer)
  • Time: 11:00am to 12:30pm (90 minutes)
  • Location: TBD –  Meetings as noted are being held virtually on Zoom
